How to play Missing Divisor

  1. Look at the division with the divisor hidden, such as 30 ÷ ? = 6.
  2. Think which times-table fact links the numbers: here, 5 × 6 = 30.
  3. Tap the missing number from the five tiles.
  4. A right answer scores and the next question appears.

For parents and teachers

Every division in this game is exact, the numbers being divided go up to 81, and the hidden number is always between 1 and 9. It is the times tables read in reverse, so a child who knows the tables well will find it easy, and a child who does not will find out which tables need work. It pairs well with the Missing Multiplier game, which asks the same facts from the other side.
