How to play Big and Small

  1. Press the big yellow Play button. The game asks for the big one or the small one.
  2. Tap the one it asks for.
  3. A right answer gets a star. A wrong one tells you what you tapped, and you can try again.
  4. Later there are three, and the game asks for the biggest or the smallest.

For parents and teachers

Comparing is one of the first ideas in measuring: which is bigger, which is smaller, and later which is the biggest of three. Everything stands on the same floor line, so your child compares the sizes the way they would compare two towers of blocks. Use the same words at home: the big spoon and the small spoon, the biggest shoe in the house.
