How to play Feed the Bunny

  1. Press the big yellow Play button. The game says how many carrots the bunny wants.
  2. Tap a carrot, or drag it, to put it in the bowl. The game counts each one.
  3. When the bowl has the right number, press the green tick.
  4. Too few: give more. Too many: tap the bowl to take one back.

For parents and teachers

Counting how many things are already there is one skill; counting out a number, give me three, is harder, because the child has to stop at three. The game lets your child put in too many and only checks when they press the tick, so the stopping is theirs to learn. Count along with each carrot, and at home ask for three spoons or four socks in the same way.
