Some relations sort a set into classes, and some functions can be undone. This course classifies relations and functions and builds composites and inverses.
The course follows the NCERT Class 12 Mathematics chapter Relations and Functions and has 2 lessons. Each lesson explains the ideas with worked examples and ends with practice questions and full answers. The numbers in every example and question are our own, so the lessons can be used alongside the textbook exercises.
- Types of Relations and Functions — Reflexive, symmetric and transitive relations, equivalence relations and classes, and one-one, onto and bijective functions.
- Composition, Inverses and Mixed Practice — Composite functions, invertible functions and how to find inverses, with a mixed practice set.

- Find the equivalence classes of an equivalence relation.

- Compose functions and find the inverse of a bijection.
